 An International Legal Leadership Experience for Law Students and young Lawyers.

The Canada Global Law Youth Conference is a three-day international legal and leadership program designed specifically for law students, recent graduates, and practicing young lawyers from across the United States, Europe, Africa and internationally who are seeking global exposure, practical legal training,networking with senior legal professionals and looking for meaningful professional connections.

Hosted in Canada, the conference brings together participants from the United States and multiple countries in Europe and Africa for an immersive experience that combines negotiation and diplomacy training, courtroom advocacy, professional networking, and cultural exchange. Whether you are preparing for a legal career, pursuing postgraduate studies, or building an international professional network, this conference provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with legal professionals, academics, and fellow delegates from around the world.

Participants will gain:

The conference opens with an intensive training program focused on negotiation, advocacy, and diplomacy. Participants will learn practical techniques used in legal practice, government relations, international organizations, and dispute resolution.

Topics include:

• Legal negotiation strategies
• Persuasive communication
• Conflict resolution
• Public speaking and advocacy
• International diplomacy and protocol
• Cross-cultural negotiation

Sessions will be delivered by experienced legal and policy professionals with international experience.

Delegates will participate in a structured moot court competition designed to strengthen legal research, written submissions, oral advocacy, and courtroom presentation skills.

Participants will:

• Receive a legal case problem in advance.
• Prepare arguments for both applicant and respondent sides.
• Present before a panel of legal professionals.
• Receive feedback on advocacy and legal reasoning.

Awards will be presented to outstanding teams and advocates.

This is an excellent opportunity for students preparing for law school competitions, bar training, or litigation practice.

On Saturday evening, participants will attend the prestigious Black Law Students’ Association Ball, one of the leading networking events for Black legal professionals and students in Canada.

The event provides opportunities to connect with:

• International delegates

This professional networking experience is a major highlight of the conference and offers valuable exposure to the Canadian legal community.

The final day includes a guided tour of a major Canadian city, allowing participants to experience Canadian culture, history, public institutions, and urban life.

The tour may include visits to:

• Universities and law schools
• Historic sites
• Cultural attractions
• Downtown business districts

The tour is included in the conference package.
